THIS WEEKEND FIXTURES All times ET / PT

MONDAY NIGHT SOCCER RECAP
Coventry City 4-1 Newcastle
The Sky Blues Are Flying!
What a night for Coventry! Frank Lampard's men absolutely stunned Newcastle with a 4–1 thumping, securing their first Premier League home win in 25 years. Jack Rudoni got things rolling from the penalty spot before Sidiki Chérif doubled the lead with a cracking finish. Sven Botman gave Newcastle hope with an absolute screamer, but Coventry weren't finished. Ellis Simms struck with his first touch off the bench before youngster Stephen Mfuni put the icing on the cake with a brilliant fourth. Two wins on the bounce, out of the relegation zone, and suddenly things look a lot brighter for the Sky Blues!
BOT90 Prediction: Coventry City 1–2 Newcastle
BOT90 Verdict: We backed Newcastle to win 2–1, but Coventry tore that prediction apart. A huge night for Lampard’s men, a first Premier League home win in 25 years, and a statement that the Sky Blues have plenty of fight in them.
GAME OF THE WEEK
LEEDS UNITED vs
MANCHESTER UNITED

WHY THIS GAME:
One of English football's fiercest rivalries returns to Elland Road. Leeds United and Manchester United have a long, bitter history, with decades of heated encounters and fierce competition between two proud footballing cities. The atmosphere is always intense, and with both clubs desperate to prove a point, this one has all the ingredients for a classic.
There's plenty of recent history, too. Leeds stunned United with a 2-1 win at Old Trafford in April, their first league victory there since 1981. Noah Okafor scored twice that night, and Leeds will be looking to repeat the trick in front of their own fans. United will be desperate to avoid another damaging result against their bitter rivals.
The form heading into this one makes things even more interesting. Leeds looked impressive as they pushed Arsenal all the way last weekend before losing 2-1, leaving them seventh with nine points. Manchester United have just six points from their opening six league games and dropped points against a ten-man Tottenham side. A 2-0 European defeat to Atlético Madrid in Europe has only increased the pressure on Michael Carrick.
KEY BATTLES TO WATCH:
Can Leeds exploit United's defensive struggles? Daniel Farke's side showed against Arsenal that they can compete with the league's strongest teams, taking the lead through James Justin before eventually being beaten. With Elland Road behind them, Leeds will fancy their chances of causing problems again.
Leeds' midfield battle could also be crucial, with Ao Tanaka offering energy, control and the ability to dictate the tempo. Jayden Bogle's bursting runs from wing-back could also trouble United, and Leeds will need that attacking threat again to stretch their defence.
United, meanwhile, desperately need Bruno Fernandes to find his form. He's struggled to make the same impact recently, and if Leeds can limit his influence, they could disrupt much of United's attacking play. Bryan Mbeumo has been one of their brighter attacking sparks, scoring against Tottenham last weekend, and with United short of consistent goals, they'll need him to deliver again.
BOT90 PREDICTION:
Leeds United 2-1 Manchester United
This rivalry rarely needs extra motivation, but both sides have plenty at stake. Leeds will take confidence from their Arsenal performance and their famous victory at Old Trafford last season. United, meanwhile, desperately need a result to ease the pressure on Carrick.
Elland Road should be rocking, and we think that home advantage could prove decisive. United have enough attacking talent to score, but their recent performances give little reason for confidence. We back Leeds to edge a fiery contest and put more pressure on their rivals.
PLAYER TO WATCH
BRADLEY BARCOLA

WHY HIM:
Bradley Barcola is looking to turn a difficult start at Liverpool into a breakthrough moment. The French winger arrived from PSG in a deal worth an initial £106 million, potentially rising to £123 million with add-ons, bringing enormous expectations to Anfield. However, he had struggled to make an impact in his opening Premier League appearances, failing to register a goal or assist.
Barcola showed what he can do at the World Cup, scoring three goals and providing an assist for France. That quality finally came to the fore in Europe this week, when he scored a brilliant hat-trick in Liverpool's 6-3 Champions League victory over LASK. It was his first senior hat-trick and his first goals for Liverpool, giving him the perfect confidence boost after a frustrating start. Watch out for his renewed confidence this weekend against Brentford.
WATCH FOR:
Barcola's pace and willingness to take on defenders could give Liverpool an important attacking outlet against Brentford. With Alexander Isak, Cody Gakpo and Hugo Ekitike all dealing with injuries, opportunities are opening up in Liverpool's forward line.
This could be Barcola's chance to step up, earn a bigger role and show that he can deliver consistently in the Premier League. With Liverpool needing goals and attacking options, he'll be under pressure to make the most of the opportunity, and we back him to deliver.
BOT90 SAYS:
The hat-trick was the breakthrough Barcola desperately needed, but the real test is whether he can carry that confidence into the Premier League. Brentford have made an impressive start and won't make life easy for Liverpool, but Barcola now has the momentum to make a difference.
If he can bring the same sharpness and finishing to his league performances, Liverpool may finally start seeing the player they spent big to bring to Anfield.
Prediction: Barcola to score and assist
3 THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE KICKOFF

CAN COVENTRY PILE MORE MISERY ON SPURS?
Coventry are flying after thumping Newcastle 4–1 on Monday night, with back-to-back league wins and a jump to 14th. The performance was a huge confidence boost, with four different goalscorers and an attacking approach that caused Newcastle problems all night.
Now they travel to North London to face a Tottenham side still searching for their first league win after six games. Spurs showed some fight to salvage a 1–1 draw whilst down to ten men last weekend, but three points from six matches leave them 19th and under pressure.
Coventry will arrive believing they can cause another upset, while Spurs desperately need a result. If Lampard's side bring the same confidence and attacking intent, could this be the final nail in the coffin for De Zerbi's time at Spurs?

WILL EUROPEAN FOOTBALL CAUSE CHAOS THIS WEEKEND?
It's been a busy week for Premier League clubs competing in Europe. Arsenal and Manchester United played in the Champions League on Tuesday, followed by Liverpool, Aston Villa and Manchester City on Wednesday. Then, on Thursday, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Sunderland and Brighton were also in European action. With so many teams playing midweek, fatigue and squad rotation could play a big part this weekend.
Liverpool travel to Brentford and Villa head to Newcastle after their European games, while Bournemouth face Sunderland and Brighton take on Palace. The latter two fixtures are particularly interesting, with both teams coming off Thursday night matches and little time to recover. Could the packed schedule open the door for a few surprise results? Don't be surprised if some big names come unstuck!

BATTLE OF THE BIRDS! IT'S DERBY DAY!
The Seagulls take on the Eagles as Brighton host Crystal Palace in one of English football's most unlikely derbies! Despite being around 45 miles apart, these two have been bitter rivals since the 1970s, when a series of heated meetings turned this into a fixture neither side wants to lose.
Brighton arrive in third place after beating Sunderland 2–0 despite going down to ten men, while Palace will take confidence from their 3–1 comeback victory over Nottingham Forest. Both sides have also played in Europe this week, leaving little time to recover before Sunday's derby.
Palace won the last meeting at the Amex 1–0 in February, so Brighton will be desperate to get one over their rivals this time. Can the Eagles make it two wins in a row against the Seagulls, or will Brighton have the last laugh on home turf?
BOT90 BIG TAKE
Brentford and Liverpool will share the points in a 2–2 thriller.
Liverpool arrive on the back of a European victory, but Brentford’s form makes this a tough trip for the Reds. The Bees are playing with confidence and won’t be afraid to take the game to their visitors.
Liverpool have the attacking quality to cause problems, but Brentford have enough firepower of their own to make this an entertaining afternoon.
We think both teams will find the net, with the Bees doing enough at home to earn a share of the points.
